Yesterday, I watched the “Shaitan,” and let me tell you, it chilled my soul with its soul-bending thrilling and suspenseful story. Despite rarely watching movies, the solid reviews of this movie piqued my interest and led me to instantly book a ticket for this amazing film.

Shaitaan Movie Review: Solid Starcast
The movie has a very strong star cast, such as
R. Madhvan acts as a Vanraaj Kashyap.
Ajay Devgan acts as a Kabir.
Jyotika acts as a Jyoti (Kabeer’s wife).
Janki Bodiwala acts as Janvi (Kabeer’s daughter).
The movie is directed by Vikas Bahl, and the story is written by Aamil Keeyan Khan and Krishnadev Yagnik.
This movie is a remake of the Gujarati movie “Vash.” What amazed me was the character of Janvi who played the same role in the original movie “Vash.”
Spooky Storyline That Keeps You Thrilled
The movie begins with a family planning to spend their weekend at their farmhouse BUT unaware of the horror that awaits them.
Midway to their farmhouse, they stopped at the eatery store, where Vanraaj interacted with them. He talked so familiarly to Kabeer and his family and offered Ladoo to Janvi. After eating, Janvi craves to follow every instruction given by Vanraaj.
After this incident, Vanraaj follows them and reaches their farmhouse with an excuse of “battery dead” and asks Kabeer to let him stay till his battery gets fully charged. During this time, he dominates Janvi and asks them to do some crazy things, which lets Kabeer’s family think something is crazy happening.
Vanraaj then threatens to harm Kabeer’s family unless they surrender Janvi to him. Under his influence, Janvi wreaks havoc, even attempting to harm her own brother.
After seeing all this, Kabeer and his wife, Jyoti, agreed to donate Janvi to him. Jyoti (Kabeer’s wife) takes their son Dhruv to the hospital, while on the other side, Kabeer follows Vanraj with his GPS location, which they set cleverly when Vanraaj is at home with them.
When Kabeer reached Vanraaj’s place, he stumbled upon other girls like Janvi.
He somehow cut Vanraaj’s tongue and played his recording to vanquish his magic. In the end scene, it is shown that Kabeer captured Vanraaj in some secret place and tortured him.
Shaitaan Movie Review: What I Think
With three packs of potato chips and two cups of coffee, I enjoyed watching this movie. Yesterday, when I was in the theatre, people appreciated the film’s story and Madhwan’s acting. Drishyam, Bhola, and now Shaitaan, also received so much praise. From an outstanding story and attention-grabbing pitch lines to amazingly horrific acting by the team, this movie is full of entertainment.
If you are someone who loves horror movies, this movie is for you. Under the direction of Vikas Bahl, the movie has some amazing VFX visual effects with a soundtrack that goosebumps at every moment.
In a nutshell, don’t miss this movie; experience the chilling adventure that makes you thrilled at every scene.
